Not Yet Free! is a collaborative art exhibition presenting paintings, poetry, film screening and music performance by various South African musicians including the legendary Dorothy Masuka and a special performance by Jessica “Anjelica” Vox from the United States of America. The project is inspired by and designed to promote awareness of global injustices such as extreme poverty, racism, and the need for basic humanitarian rights.
The main objective of this project is to create an innovative and sustainable form of expressionism, activism and a platform for conversation where people can share Common Grounds. We believe that the Not Yet Free Exhibition is in a way a crossroad for our communities to come together and confront the ills of the Post-Apartheid South Africa - threatening the Future of our Freedom.
On the 14th of May 2016 top local and international acts will engage in a global conversation about freedom, through music.
